- Die letzte Geschichte ist etwas schwach, genau wie einige Geschichten zu Beginn des Bandes. Die Geschichten von Frank Robbins gehören vielleicht nicht zu seinen Besten, aber sie sind allemal hervorragende Unterhaltung. Batgirl, wie es hier präsentiert wird, war besser als ihr Ruf. dass Barbara Gordon sich im Lauf der Zeit weiterentwickelte ist eine Besonderheit, die damals nicht alltäglich war.

Als ich jung waren, haben mir die Arbeiten von Dick Dillin nicht immer gefallen. Vor allem Frank McLaughlin hat einiges dazu beigetragen, Dillin schlecht aussehen zu lassen. Hier wird er größtenteils von Joe Giella und Dick Giordano geinkt. Dillin war kein Neal Adams, aber er verstand es nicht nur Geschichten gut zu erzählen sondern auch pünktlich abzuliefern.

Ich hab den Band in einem Comicshop am Breitscheidplatz (Berlin) gekauft, eine Woche vor dem Terroranschlag.
Elongated Man stand nicht auf meiner Liste von Comics, die ich unbedingt brauche, aber ich wurde nicht enttäuscht. Die Geschichten sind manchmal etwas überdreht, aber als Ratekrimis gute Unterhaltung.
